I am participating in a fun monthly project called “The Way I View ____” with 12 other CMpro photographers from Clickinmoms. I am so honored to be a CMpro of Clickinmoms- it’s such an amazing place of support, education and friendship.
I am excited about this project and look forward to the months ahead and for this opportunity to shoot for myself.
I dreamt of motherhood for many years before I actually could claim that title. Motherhood always felt like a secret, elite club,
a club that many of my friends and coworkers belonged to and one that I longed to join.
After years of heartache I was finally able to carry a baby to full term.
During my pregnancy, I was so afraid that I would still never become a mother, I was so afraid for my baby every day.
Around every turn I kept seeing the scripture Hebrews 11:1 over and over again…
‘What is FAITH? It is the confident reassurance what you hope for will happen. It is evidence of things not yet seen.”
My sweet miracle Ava Faith was born just 2 hours before Valentine’s Day in 2007. My forever Valentine and perfect in every way.
Motherhood has been my sweetest accomplishment and absolutely everything that I thought it would be.
This is how I view “motherhood”.
