Thursday, April 26th was a very special day for our family.
My husband Matt officially adopted my daughter Ava Faith… and now our family is complete.
Ava has waited so long for a daddy of her very own, and finally that day arrived.

I finally got my camera back from Canon today, so I took Ava out tonight for a quick wildflower shoot. The wildflowers are in full-bloom here in Northwest Arkansas and I can’t wait to photograph them more!
When shooting in fields, I get down low, shoot wide open to blur an undesireable background, use the clone stamp tool if I need to and crop in-camera. Here is a pull-back of the area I was shooting in.

Sweet Kloey could not be any cuter.
I love her dark curls and her beautiful eyes.

I am participating in a fabulous new monthly project called “The Way I View ____” with 12 other CMpro photographers from Clickinmoms. I am so honored to be a part of Clickinmoms- it’s such an amazing place of support, education and friendship.
